Hrush - the common name for volcanic dust in Extrittio. Hrush is visible everywhere, and despite being annoyance at first to clean, and makes it difficult to breathe, it has various uses in Extrittian society. Thanks for it being extremely rich in minerals, its commonly being used to filter water, cleaning it of any kinds of bacterias and impurities, and it does even improve the taste of the water itself, thanks to enriching it in minerals. The water, is even commonly exported to elite families of foreign countries, under the name “Kathro”.
It also is used in the advanced Extrittian chemistry industry, where its distilled into sulphur and other minerals, used in explosives productions, as well as for elements used in firespreaders, the Extrittian weapons used for burning enemy infrastructure… and more.
There is a class of the so called “Ashdiggers”, that go through vast amounts of volcanic ashes, in search for rare minerals, which they later sold at local gem specialists. Sadly their lives don’t go for long, due to be their lungs being damaged by the amount of ash they sniff through during their work.
